• Courageous Kids Run for Kids Cancer

On Friday the 7th of June the children of Mokoia Intermediate ran a gruelling cross country around the lush hills of Rotorua. A bunch of generous children decided they should gather sponsors for the cross country and donate all the money given to those children to the child cancer foundation. 26 students took part in the sponsor run, along with the whole school. One of the kind donors, Flynn Baxter, won the cross country. It is expected to have around 400-500 dollars raised.

  1. I really liked your descriptive writing and I really liked how you were so specific. I thought the cross country was gruelling but after the hills I thought it was a walk in the park. I would really like to know how much you raised for child cancer. Did you know much Flynn raised? –Antonio

  2. I liked your adjectives about the terrain it wasn’t that gruelling it was much easier than last year I thought it going to be so hard I was so nervous but it was simple. You should talk about the other runners as well.
